Store Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive the success of our store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a proven track record in retail management. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Manage all aspects of store operations including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
• Conduct employee orientation, training, and development programs to ensure staff is well-equipped to meet company standards.
• Oversee recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes to build a strong team.
• Implement effective payroll and bookkeeping practices to maintain financial accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to ensure product availability.
• Utilize retail math for pricing strategies and budget management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling, cashiering, and customer service protocols.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management practices.
• Develop marketing strategies to promote sales initiatives and enhance store visibility.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with supervisory experience.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail in inventory control and merchandising.
• Proficient in using POS systems and managing retail sales transactions accurately.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to train and develop team members effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with phone etiquette.
• Ability to manage time efficiently while juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
