Duties

• Lead and supervise the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management.
• Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities.
• Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to foster a motivated and skilled team.
• Implement employee orientation programs and ongoing training initiatives to enhance team performance.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and develop strategies to increase revenue.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in retail management or store supervision within the retail industry.
• Strong negotiation skills for vendor relations and pricing strategies.
• Excellent managerial communication skills for effective team leadership and customer interactions.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases.
• Proficiency in POS systems, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and inventory management software.
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff.
• Sound knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies, budgeting, and sales management.
• Skilled in operational management tasks such as stock control, merchandising, and shift scheduling.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with cashiering, cash handling procedures, and phone etiquette to ensure smooth daily operations.
