Duties

• Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to company policies.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members, providing comprehensive employee orientation and ongoing training & development.
• Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize sales and reduce shrinkage.
• Oversee cash handling, cashiering, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Implement merchandising plans, organize product displays, and manage stocking to enhance store presentation.
• Monitor sales performance, set sales targets, and develop strategies to meet or exceed goals through effective team management.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries promptly and resolving issues effectively.
• Conduct managerial communication with staff regarding shift management, operational updates, and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, store policies, and operational procedures while fostering a positive team environment.

Experience

• Proven management experience in the retail industry with a focus on sales team leadership and operational oversight.
• Demonstrated supervisory skills with a track record of supervising staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of retail math including pricing, budgeting, and basic financial analysis.
• Experience with inventory management systems, POS systems, purchasing procedures, and cash handling protocols.
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse customer engagement.
• Prior experience in recruiting, interviewing candidates, employee orientation programs, and training & development initiatives.
• Familiarity with retail industry sales strategies such as merchandising, stock control, and promotional planning is essential.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
