Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing to optimize product availability.
• Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to foster a high-performing team environment.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve productivity and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational standards.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain excellent phone etiquette.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling procedures.
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development.
• Proficiency in bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and operational management.
• Experience with retail math including pricing strategies and sales analysis.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Previous assistant manager or managerial experience within the retail industry is preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
