Duties

• Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring operational excellence and outstanding customer experiences
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members while providing ongoing training and development to foster a high-performing sales team
• Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize profitability
• Oversee cash handling, cashiering, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Develop and implement sales strategies, monitor sales performance, and set targets to achieve business objectives
• Coordinate shift schedules, manage store opening and closing procedures, and ensure adherence to safety policies
• Communicate effectively with staff through managerial communication skills to motivate the team and maintain a positive work environment

Experience

• Proven management experience within the retail industry, particularly in store or sales team management roles
• Demonstrated supervisory skills with a track record of leading teams successfully in fast-paced settings
• Strong background in inventory management, merchandising, and operational oversight
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, payroll administration, and basic math skills for financial transactions
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Prior experience in grocery or retail stores is advantageous but not mandatory; relevant experience in customer service roles is valued too
• Excellent organizational skills combined with effective communication abilities to train staff and manage multiple priorities efficiently

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
