Salary: $80,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time – 38 hours per week

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our Alexandra Headland store. The position will be responsible for sales performance, staff management, stock control, purchasing and customer service, while ensuring the store operates efficiently and profitably. Reporting to the Director, you will play an important role in maintaining a high standard of customer service and supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Organising and controlling the overall operations of the retail store to achieve sales, profitability and customer service objectives.
• Developing and implementing operational procedures, sales strategies and service standards.
• Monitoring financial performance, preparing budgets, controlling expenses and analysing sales results.
• Determining product mix and stock requirements across electric bikes, scooters, parts and accessories, overseeing purchasing activities and supplier relationships.
• Providing input into retail pricing based on sales performance and customer demand.
• Recruiting, training, managing and evaluating staff performance to maintain a productive and customer-focused team.
• Preparing staff rosters and managing staffing requirements in accordance with the operational needs of the store.
• Implementing marketing and promotional initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement.
• Coordinating the customer-facing aspects of servicing and repairs, including workshop bookings, after-sales enquiries and availability of required parts.
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and retail operational standards.
• Monitoring store performance and identifying opportunities to improve sales, efficiency and customer service.
• Managing escalated customer enquiries and complaints and maintaining high customer service standards.

• Demonstrated experience managing retail operations, including sales performance, staffing, inventory control and customer service
• Strong leadership and staff management skills
• Experience in purchasing, supplier liaison and inventory management
• Sound commercial acumen and ability to monitor sales and business performance
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused and professional approach
• Commitment to a long-term appointment
• Previous experience in the bicycle, e-bike, electric scooter or related retail industry, together with knowledge of electric mobility products, would be highly advantageous
