The Shop Manager leads the day-to-day experience for customers, makers and the team of a Shop Made location.

This role is responsible for the overall health and performance of the shop, balancing people leadership, sales, inventory, operations and community engagement. You’ll set the tone on the floor, keep the team aligned and make sure the shop is running in a way that supports both the customer experience and the success of our makers.

HERE'S WHERE YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Create a memorable customer experience by modeling extraordinary service and setting a strong standard for the team
• Lead, coach and support store staff while creating clear expectations, accountability and a positive day-to-day environment
• Build weekly schedules, manage staffing needs and keep labor aligned with the store’s payroll budget
• Track store performance, review sales and revenue trends and work with leadership to forecast and respond to business needs
• Manage store expenses and make thoughtful decisions that support both efficiency and profitability
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with makers and leadership, and make sure the shop stays stocked with the right products
• Oversee monthly inventory counts and maintain accurate, organized inventory records
• Keep back-of-house supplies, operational materials and store resources organized and stocked
• Identify and resolve store, facilities and operational issues before they become bigger problems
• Keep the team informed with clear daily communication around sales, priorities, staffing, issues and anything else they need to know to have a successful shift
• Look for opportunities to improve traffic, sales and the overall customer experience
• Support and promote in-store classes, events and other programming
• Build relationships within the surrounding community and help the shop feel connected to the neighborhood it serves
• Handle customer concerns thoughtfully and protect the reputation and experience of the Shop Made brand

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
