Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
• Manage daily store operations including inventory control, merchandising, stocking, and POS (Point of Sale) systems
• Oversee employee orientation, training & development, and performance management to foster a high-performing team
• Handle recruiting efforts, interviewing candidates, and onboarding new staff members
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, cash handling, and budgeting responsibilities
• Implement effective pricing strategies and purchasing decisions to maximize profitability
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures while supervising shift management

Experience

• Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising sales teams and managing store operations
• Strong background in retail sales management with expertise in inventory management, merchandising, and POS systems
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting new team members
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and retail math is essential
• Previous assistant manager or managerial roles in grocery stores or similar retail environments are preferred
• Excellent communication skills combined with organizational abilities to lead teams efficiently and manage multiple priorities

Pay: $45,000.00 - $59,800.00 per month
