Store Manager

Edward Meller is seeking an experienced Manager to lead our boutique team in Double Bay. This is a full-time position where you will take on a strategic and operational leadership role. You will be responsible for driving store performance, leading a team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience that reflects the Edward Meller brand values. This role is pivotal in ensuring our store operates efficiently whilst maintaining the high standards that our customers expect.

Key responsibilities

• Leading and managing the store team to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators
• Creating and maintaining a positive, motivating work environment that encourages team engagement and development
• Overseeing daily store operations including stock management, merchandising and visual displays
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and health and safety regulations
• Managing customer service standards and resolving customer concerns professionally and effectively
• Recruiting, training and coaching team members to enhance their skills and career development
• Monitoring financial performance including budgets, cash handling and loss prevention
• Implementing promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives to drive footfall and sales
• Maintaining store cleanliness, organisation and presentation to company standards
• Building strong relationships with customers and staff to foster brand loyalty

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role within a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth
• Excellent customer service orientation with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Proficiency in retail systems and POS software
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
• Ability to work flexibly including evenings and weekends as required by retail operations
