Store Manager

About the opportunity

LeWrap Chermside is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Store Manager to take ownership of our Chermside store in Brisbane.

This is not simply a role for someone who can run shifts and maintain day-to-day operations. We’re looking for a strong hospitality manager who wants to build, grow and operate the store with an owner’s mindset.

For the right candidate, this position offers wages plus a profit-share opportunity linked to the performance of the Chermside store.

What you’ll be responsible for

You’ll take responsibility for both the operation and growth of the store, including:

• Leading, coaching and developing the store team
• Managing day-to-day store operations
• Rostering and effective labour management
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Maintaining strong food quality and service standards
• Stock control, ordering and inventory management
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and operational standards
• Monitoring sales, labour, KPIs and overall store performance
• Identifying operational issues and taking ownership of solutions
• Actively finding ways to increase sales and grow the store
• Building relationships with local businesses and the wider community
• Reaching out to potential customers and identifying new opportunities
• Developing local initiatives to generate awareness, traffic and repeat business
• Thinking beyond the four walls of the store and taking initiative without waiting for instructions

Hospitality management experience is mandatory

This is a management position, and previous hospitality management experience is essential.

You must have genuine experience managing within hospitality, QSR, restaurants, cafés, food service or a similar environment.

• Has proven hospitality management experience
• Has experience leading and motivating a team
• Is highly motivated, proactive and accountable
• Takes ownership and follows through
• Is commercially minded and understands how to grow a business
• Is comfortable working with sales, labour, stock and store KPIs
• Can identify opportunities and turn ideas into action
• Is confident building relationships with customers, businesses and the local community
• Thinks creatively and is willing to go beyond normal day-to-day store management
• Can make decisions and solve problems independently
• Is hands-on and prepared to work alongside the team when required
• Has valid Australian working rights

Candidates without hospitality management experience will not be suitable for this position.
