Lawrence Pharmacy is a well-established, family-owned independent pharmacy serving the Chesapeake community for over 60 years. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Store Manager to oversee daily retail operations and help maintain an efficient, welcoming environment for our customers and employees.

Our 12,000-square-foot store offers a unique retail environment that includes a pharmacy, restaurant, florist, and a variety of retail products. This position provides the opportunity to work with an experienced team in a locally owned business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily retail store operations to ensure efficiency and excellent customer service.
• Supervise, support, and coordinate front-end retail employees.
• Manage inventory, product ordering, pricing, and merchandising.
• Maintain store appearance, product displays, and overall organization.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Assist with employee scheduling and daily operational needs.
• Address customer concerns and resolve operational challenges.
• Collaborate with department managers to support smooth operations throughout the store.
• Provide hands-on assistance with daily store activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with retail merchandising, inventory management, and store operations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy retail environment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Willingness to assist with physical store operations, including stocking, lifting, and moving merchandise.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week. Some weekend and early morning availability may be required.
