Store Manager

Diamant Expresso and Chocolate is a specialty cafe and chocolate shop at Morgan Crossing. Specialty coffee, chocolate made properly, and a short menu we are rebuilding from the ground up. We are growing, and the people who start with us now are the ones who will run shifts, run the bake and run the floor as we add them.

We need someone to run the floor day to day so the owner is not doing it.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Run the shift. Build the schedule and keep labour inside target. Open and close, count the till, log fridge temperatures and waste. Order from our suppliers against set par levels. Train new staff on the build sheet and hold the standard once they are trained. Work the bar yourself, this is a hands on job, not an office one.

WHAT WE NEED

At least one year in a cafe, restaurant or retail food role.

You can work a bar and a till yourself, not just supervise.

FOODSAFE Level 1, or willing to get it before your first shift.

Comfortable with numbers. You will see the daily sales and be asked what they mean.

Available weekends.

ROOM TO GROW

We are a small team that is getting bigger. We would rather promote someone who already knows how we work than hire a stranger into it. Shift lead, bar lead and store manager are all roles we are building toward.

WHAT YOU GET

$18.25 to $22.00 an hour depending on experience, plus tips.
