Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff management.
• Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and engagement.
• Manage payroll, scheduling, and employee orientation to optimize staffing levels and operational efficiency.
• Utilize POS systems for transactions, cash handling, and sales reporting while maintaining accurate bookkeeping records.
• Implement inventory management practices to minimize shrinkage and ensure stock accuracy.
• Foster a welcoming environment by providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues promptly.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide training & development opportunities, and reinforce store policies.
• Manage operational tasks such as budgeting, sales analysis, marketing initiatives, and shift management to meet business objectives.

Experience

• Proven management experience in retail store operations or similar environment with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong background in retail sales management including merchandising, inventory control, and customer service excellence.
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, training staff, and leading teams effectively.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, payroll processing, and basic bookkeeping.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and build strong team dynamics.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
• Experience in grocery or wireless sales sectors is a plus but not required; a solid understanding of retail math and operational management is essential.
