Store Manager

Dell’Oglio, a historic Sicilian luxury fashion Maison, has been synonymous with elegance in Palermo and Taormina for over a century and four generations. The group operates four boutiques on Corso Umberto I in Taormina, offering menswear and womenswear.

The Role

We are looking for a Store Manager for our Taormina boutique, set in one of Sicily’s most exclusive locations. This is a seasonal contract from April to October, with full responsibility for store operations, the team and commercial results.

The ideal candidate is an independent manager with solid experience in luxury retail and a proven ability to lead a team towards challenging goals in an international, highly refined environment.

Responsibilities

• Full management of the store: operations, KPIs, budget and sell-through targets
• Coordinating, training and motivating the team of sales associates
• Shift planning, attendance management and organisation of daily activities
• Developing and retaining a portfolio of top-spending Italian and international clients
• Clienteling, managing VIP appointments and in-store events
• Overseeing visual merchandising in line with the Maison’s guidelines
• Monitoring stock and product rotation, and submitting replenishment proposals to the buying team
• Regular reporting to management on performance, team and seasonal trends
• Managing relationships with brand partners and brand representatives in the boutique

Requirements

• At least 5 years’ experience in luxury retail, including a minimum of 2 years in a coordination or store management role
• Proven team management skills and a track record of achieving sales targets
• Solid clienteling experience and a history of developing an international clientele
• Knowledge of retail KPIs, stock dynamics and visual merchandising
• Fluent English (C1); a second foreign language (French, German, Russian or Arabic) is a strong plus
• Leadership, problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset
• Polished presentation, refined manners and a genuine passion for luxury fashion
• Availability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays during the season
