Job Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all retail, grocery & warehouse operations, including financial performance, compliance, inventory management, customer service & team leadership. This role drives overall store performance, ensures alignment with company standards, audit expectations & operational goals, and maintains accountability across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily retail, grocery & warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, organization & alignment with company standards
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures & audit requirements across all departments
• Monitor store performance including sales, inventory accuracy, shrink & execution of operational standards
• Drive accountability across department managers to ensure consistent execution of responsibilities
• Review audit results & implement corrective actions to improve performance & ensure compliance
• Oversee staffing, scheduling & team performance to support operational needs
• Ensure proper execution of inventory control, receiving, merchandising & operational processes
• Maintain high standards of customer service & resolve escalated customer concerns
• Ensure adherence to safety, food safety & regulatory requirements
• Partner with corporate & regional leadership to support company initiatives
• Identify operational risks, gaps & inefficiencies and implement solutions
• Maintain overall store & warehouse organization, cleanliness & audit readiness

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, warehouse or grocery operations management
• Strong understanding of multi-department operations
• Experience leading & managing teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong financial, analytical & problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities & drive results
• Strong communication, leadership & decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing multi-department operations
• Familiarity with operational audits & compliance standards
• Experience in high-volume retail, grocery or wholesale environments

Work Environment / Expectations

Primarily retail, grocery & warehouse environment. Requires active oversight of operations across all departments, including time spent on the floor. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and may require schedule flexibility based on business needs.
