Job Title: Store Manager at South Texas Fence Supply

Location: Victoria, Texas

Salary: $60,000 per year + Commission/Bonuses

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily store operations, including inventory management, customer service, POS transactions, and staff supervision.
• Actively drive sales through customer engagement, product recommendations, promotions, and strategic outreach.
• Build lasting relationships with contractors, retail customers, vendors, and local businesses to generate repeat sales and new opportunities.
• Develop creative sales strategies, merchandising displays, and promotional initiatives to grow revenue.
• Identify new products, suppliers, and opportunities to expand our customer base and improve profitability.
• Motivate, train, and lead employees to maintain an enthusiastic, customer-focused, and results-driven team.
• Monitor sales performance, manage inventory, and implement improvements to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming store environment.

Qualifications:

• Outgoing, enthusiastic, and personable with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong sales ability with a proven drive to generate business, close sales, and exceed goals.
• Previous experience in pipe, fencing materials, construction supplies, or related industries preferred.
• Proven retail management experience with strong operational and leadership skills.
• Creative, innovative, and proactive mindset with a passion for business growth and continuous improvement.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to motivate, train, and manage employees effectively.
• Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and daily retail operations.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Previous experience interviewing, hiring, and managing staff preferred.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-oriented with a willingness to take ownership and make things happen.

Compensation:

$60,000 base salary plus commission on sales and the opportunity for quarterly bonuses when sales goals are met.
