  • Lead, train, coach, schedule, and support the store team, setting clear expectations and following up on performance and  daily responsibilities.
  • Manage daily store operations and priorities, including opening and closing procedures, POS and cash controls, deposits,  store security, and required records.

  • Oversee and participate in blending, packaging, stocking, merchandising, and production activities to help ensure product  availability and quality.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, well-merchandised, and Guest-ready store environment.
  • Manage labor scheduling and daily floor coverage based on business needs and established budgets.
  • Monitor store performance and sales results, using available information to identify opportunities and coach the team.
  • Support local store marketing, promotions, events, and community engagement in partnership with the Owner.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Owner regarding store performance, staffing, inventory, Guest feedback, and  operational needs.
  • Perform other store-related duties as assigned by the Owner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous management experience in retail, hospitality, restaurant, specialty food, or a comparable customer-facing business.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team while maintaining strong Guest service and selling standards.
  • Strong organization, communication, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with scheduling, inventory, POS/cash controls, and day-to-day store operations.
  • Comfort using computer applications, including point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Reliable transportation to meet scheduled shifts.

Preferred Skills

  • 2 or more years of retail or comparable operations management experience.
  • Experience managing sales, people, products, inventory, and point-of-sale systems.
  • Interest in culinary arts, cooking, spices, teas, or specialty food products.
  • Experience using sales and operational results to coach a team and improve store performance.
  • Adaptability and ability to shift priorities based on Guest, team, and business needs.

Physical Demands

  • Regular use of kitchen tools to support blending and product preparation as needed.
  • Ability to remain on your feet and actively maneuver throughout retail, stockroom, and production areas for approximately 95% of the workday, including extended periods of standing and walking, as well as frequent bending, twisting, reaching,  stooping, squatting, and lifting.
  • Frequent lifting and moving of products weighing up to 50 lbs.
