Duties

• Lead and supervise the retail team, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating staff to ensure high performance and excellent customer service
• Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory control to maximize sales and reduce shrinkage
• Manage daily store operations such as opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction
• Conduct employee orientation sessions, interviews for new hires, and ongoing training to build a skilled and motivated team
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements across all store functions

Skills

• Strong management skills with proven experience supervising retail teams in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting top talent through effective interviewing and employee orientation practices
• Expertise in retail sales management including merchandising, stock control, sales techniques, and retail math fundamentals
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams through coaching and training; experience in assistant manager roles is advantageous
• Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on time management and operational efficiency
• Strong managerial communication skills to facilitate clear instructions and foster teamwork
