Store Manager

Job Overview

As a Store Manager, you’ll lead daily store operations and build a team that delivers welcoming, reliable customer service. You’ll guide retail sales, manage staffing and shifts, and keep products available, accurately priced, and well presented. This role calls for hands-on leadership, sound judgment, and clear communication. Grocery store experience and multilingual or bilingual skills are welcome, but are not required.

Duties

• Lead, supervise, and develop team members; coordinate recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, and training and development.
• Manage schedules and shifts, payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, purchasing, and store operations.
• Oversee inventory management and control, stocking, merchandising, pricing, and retail store product knowledge.
• Support sales management and retail industry sales team performance; monitor point-of-sale (POS) systems, cashiering, cash handling, and basic retail math.
• Resolve customer needs, handle negotiations, and maintain professional phone etiquette and managerial communication. Your impact: Consistent service and well-managed inventory help customers find the products they need and keep store operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management, store management, sales, customer service, and operations management; assistant manager or supervising experience is valuable.
• Demonstrated leadership, team management, shift management, and operational management skills.
• Working knowledge of POS systems, inventory control, purchasing, pricing, cash handling, payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, and retail math.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, with comfort using basic math.
• Retail sales management experience is preferred; grocery store experience and bilingual or multilingual abilities are nice to have.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
