Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager with strong expertise in managing stores at construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for physical stock verification, inventory control, vendor documentation, price verification, and the efficient management of construction materials, parts, and consumables at the project site.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store operations at large construction project sites, ensuring proper receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of materials.
• Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile actual stock with inventory records, material registers, and system data.
• Maintain and verify vendor invoices, delivery challans, purchase orders, material receipts, and other procurement-related documents.
• Cross-check vendor invoices and supplied material prices against approved purchase orders, quotations, and agreed rates, highlighting discrepancies for correction.
• Maintain strong working knowledge of materials, parts, tools, equipment, spares, and consumables commonly procured for large construction projects.
• Verify material quantities and specifications against purchase orders and delivery documents at the time of receipt.
• Ensure materials are issued to authorized project teams against approved requisitions and maintain accurate records of consumption and balance stock.
• Monitor stock levels, identify shortages and excess stock, and coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Maintain accurate stock registers, GRN records, material issue slips, vendor files, and periodic inventory reports.
• Work closely with procurement, accounts, site engineers, contractors, and vendors to resolve material, documentation, and stock-related issues.
• Manage store activities efficiently in a demanding construction environment, ensuring accuracy, discipline, and timely material availability while working under pressure.

Educational Qualification & Experience

• Minimum Graduation in any discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in store and inventory management.
• Candidates must have substantial hands-on experience managing stores at large construction projects.

Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month
