Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Store Manager - In Training to develop leadership skills and gain comprehensive experience in store operations. This paid internship position offers a unique opportunity to learn all facets of store management, from customer service excellence to inventory control, while preparing for future managerial roles. Duties

• Assist in supervising daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
• Support staff training and development to foster a high-performing team environment.
• Help manage inventory control, including stock replenishment, order processing, and shrink reduction.
• Gain hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and reporting.
• Participate in shift management by coordinating team schedules and ensuring operational standards are met.
• Contribute to food safety and cleanliness protocols if applicable, especially in stores offering food or catering services.
• Collaborate with management on profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and sales performance tracking.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience within the food industry or hospitality sector.
• Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, food handling, and food safety management practices.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and manage teams confidently.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, inventory counting, and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
