Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to be part of the establishment of a new wool selling centre in New South Wales? We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team and play a key role in supporting wool selling operations.

Working across both the saleroom and showfloor, this hands-on role offers the opportunity to develop valuable industry knowledge while contributing to a dynamic and growing business.

About the Role

Working across the showfloor and warehouse, you will be involved in a range of activities that support the preparation and conduct of wool sales. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a physically active environment.

Successful candidates will initially assist across various areas of our wool business before transitioning into the showfloor set-up phase in Goulburn from early to mid-December.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations across the saleroom and showfloor.
• Support wool handling, preparation and presentation activities.
• Undertake administrative and computer-based tasks as required.
• Work collaboratively with team members across different business functions.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Learn and contribute to other areas of the wool business as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Good computer skills and confidence using technology.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• A good level of physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods when required.
• Previous experience in the wool industry, or an interest in learning about wool and agricultural industries, will be highly regarded.

Additional Requirements

• You must be available to spend one week at our Yennora site during November for training and onboarding purposes.
• Travel and accommodation expenses for the Yennora visit will be fully covered by AWH.
• You must be willing to assist in other areas of the business until the commencement of the Goulburn showfloor set-up in early to mid-December.
