Store Opening - Sankar Sealing System

Role & responsibilities

• Manage receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials, consumables, packing materials, and finished goods.
• Ensure proper Goods Receipt Note (GRN) processing and documentation in SAP.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock reconciliation.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Purchase and Production teams for material availability.
• Execute material inward and outward transactions in SAP.
• Verify materials received against Purchase Orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
• Ensure proper storage and preservation of materials as per company standards.
• Support cycle counting, physical stock verification, and annual inventory audits.
• Coordinate with Quality team for segregation and control of rejected materials.
• Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices and ensure material traceability.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stores reports.
• Ensure compliance with 5S, safety requirements, IATF 16949 standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate with logistics,production, purchase, and finance departments for smooth material flow.
• Monitor slow-moving,non-moving, and obsolete inventory and report to management.
• Maintain housekeeping and discipline within the stores area.

Specialized Knowledge

• SAP MM / Inventory Management Module.
• GRN Processing.
• Inventory Control & Stock Management.
• Material Handling & Storage Practices.
• Store Documentation and Record Maintenance.

Skills

• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel.
