Store Operations Associate

About the Role:

Zyra is a growing hybrid warehouse + retail store in Fredericksburg. This is a hands-on role blending warehouse work, retail, and customer service — varied, sometimes independent, and built for someone who wants to grow with a growing business.

Warehouse & Inventory:

• Unload and receive incoming trucks; sort and prep merchandise as it arrives
• Process inventory with real attention to detail — inspect items, note condition accurately and clearly, scan/photo every item for listing; keep items organized and in the right locations
• Keep recorded locations updated when items move
• Monitor stock — flag when categories look overstocked and when popular items are running low so purchasing stays informed
• Keep the warehouse safe and orderly — follow procedures, closed-toe shoes required, 75 lb lifting with proper technique, keep aisles clear

Retail & Customer Service:

• Customer pickup & walk-in service — help customers at pickup, answer questions, keep the experience smooth and professional
• Sales — engage with walk-in and pickup customers, help them find what they need, encourage additional purchases when it's a genuine fit
• Showroom presentation — keep the retail floor and clearance shelves neat and inviting
• Represent the brand positively; build rapport that brings people back

What we're looking for:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
• Customer service skills — comfortable, friendly, and professional talking with customers regularly
• Initiative — you see what needs doing and do it or notify appropriate team member
• Adaptable and engaged — happy to shift between warehouse and retail tasks as priorities change
• Reliability and consistent attendance

Preferred :

• Sales experience and an eye for upsell opportunities
• Forklift experience/certification

Compensation & Schedule:

$15–17/hr, based on experience

Part-time, ~20–30 hrs/week, including Saturdays and alternating Sunday availability

Potential for performance bonuses and additional hours as we grow

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
