Your Impact

As a Store Operations Corporate Facilities Intern, you'll gain valuable experience supporting the day-to-day operations that ensure Lowe’s stores remain safe, functional, and customer-ready. Working alongside our Retail Facilities and Store Operations teams, you’ll assist in coordinating maintenance requests, tracking vendor activity, and analyzing store-level data to help improve facilities support across our 1,700+ locations. This role is ideal for someone interested in operations, facilities coordination, and gaining insight into how Lowe’s keeps its stores running efficiently behind the scenes.

What You Will Learn

• Support project execution and design development for new retail stores, supply chain buildings, and corporate facilities from initial planning through construction completion.
• Assist with permitting, entitlements, and design coordination, working with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects meet established requirements and timelines.
• Participate in site and building design reviews, evaluating construction plans, drawings, specifications, and other project documentation for accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
• Support the development and preparation of construction bid packages, including organizing project requirements and distributing bid documents to general contractors for pricing and construction services.
• Collaborate with general contractors, design partners, and project stakeholders throughout the bidding and construction process to track deliverables, address project needs, and support successful execution.
• Assist with day-to-day construction project and contract management, maintaining construction documentation, monitoring design and contract requirements, and supporting projects throughout the full construction lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural Engineering –Construction Management (discipline) or a related field.
• Expected graduation dates of December 2027 or May 2028.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
• Proficiency with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc) and data analytics.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL and databases, and ability to write simple queries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with curiosity to explore data.
• Comfort working with data and learning internal platforms.
• Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization is a plus.
