Store Person

About the Role
The Warehouse Store Person & Delivery Driver plays an essential role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. This position is responsible for the accurate receiving, storing, picking, checking, loading, dispatching, and delivering glass and hardware. The successful applicant will be expected to maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, customer service and contribute to a clean environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain familiarity with daily client delivery and collection schedules through the company system

• Accurately pick, pack, check and load glass and hardware orders safely, accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies

• Receive, inspect, unload and store international container, local stock and courier arrivals/deliveries

• Check incoming goods against delivery documents and report any discrepancies or damage

• Deliver customer orders safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures. Obtain customer signatures, proof of delivery, or relevant delivery documentation

• Provide professional and courteous service to customers collecting orders and when delivering to site

• Assist with regular stock sweeps and counts

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment

• Contribute ideas and suggestions that improve safety, efficiency, workflow and customer service

About You!

• Current forklift licence required

• Current Australian driver licence required

• Previous warehouse, logistics, delivery, or store person experience preferred

• Experience handling fragile, heavy, or oversized products is highly regarded

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to safely perform manual handling duties, including handling glass products

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety
