Warehouse Storeperson / Picker Packer / Forklift Operator

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Storeperson to join our growing team at our Silverwater warehouse. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you’ll play an important role in the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse while supporting customers and preparing custom orders.

This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position (8:00am to 4:30pm) with an immediate start available. A current LF forklift licence and full Australian working rights are required.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving and dispatching stock, including loading and unloading trucks and containers
• Picking and packing orders accurately
• Operating an LF forklift
• Completing rolling stocktakes
• Assembling stock for custom orders, including light assembly work and cutting trims to size
• Performing general warehouse duties and manual lifting
• Maintaining a clean, safe and well-presented warehouse
• Providing friendly, face-to-face customer service
• Completing data entry and managing warehouse documentation
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

About you

• A current LF forklift licence
• Previous warehouse or similar experience
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• The ability to follow procedures and work safely
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to getting things right the first time
• The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
• A positive, team-focused attitude
• The physical capacity to perform manual handling duties
