Store Planning Officer (Electrical Engineering)

Job Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Contractor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for issue reporting. Plan corrective maintenance (CM) and preventive maintenance (PM) while overseeing contractors to ensure timely, standard-compliant completion.
• Budget & Spare Parts Management: Optimize labor and equipment costs. Systematically manage spare parts procurement and requisition while preserving the brand image.
• Quality & Defect Inspection: Inspect completed works, evaluate contractor performance, and coordinate defect resolution to achieve 100% compliance with safety and brand standards prior to handover.
• Store Condition Audit: Conduct periodic store audits (quarterly/annually). Propose lighting and furniture improvements to maintain a fresh and modern store appearance.
• Store Opening & Renovation Support: Collaborate on planning and preparing electrical, mechanical, and structural systems prior to store launches.
• Documentation & Coordination: Prepare purchase approvals (PO/PR), consolidate project data, and serve as the central liaison between Store Planning, Store Operations, Purchasing, and Suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in technical coordination, maintenance, facilities management, or store planning/set-up.
• Background in the retail industry, department stores, or showrooms is highly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building engineering systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection) is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD (ability to read or perform basic edits) or maintenance/ERP systems is a plus.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to various branch locations.
• Adaptable with flexible working hours to accommodate urgent maintenance requirements.
