Store Reliever

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Store Reliever to join the team at Gruppo Tienda. This is a full-time position based in Carcar City, Cebu. As a Store Reliever, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our retail stores by providing flexible coverage across multiple locations. Your ability to adapt quickly to different store environments and maintain our high standards of customer service will be essential to our success. This role offers the opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of our retail operations whilst building strong relationships with diverse customer bases.

What you'll be doing

• Providing coverage across assigned store locations to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak trading periods and staff absences
• Delivering exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, answering queries and processing transactions accurately
• Maintaining store presentation standards, including restocking shelves, organising merchandise displays and keeping the sales floor clean and welcoming
• Operating point-of-sale systems and handling cash transactions with accuracy and integrity
• Supporting inventory management activities, including stock counting, receiving deliveries and identifying discrepancies
• Following company policies and procedures across all assigned stores to ensure consistency and compliance
• Building positive relationships with store teams and adapting quickly to varying store layouts and systems
• Assisting with promotional activities and ensuring customers are aware of current offers and products
• Reporting any issues or concerns to store management promptly

What we're looking for

• Proven retail experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in health, wellness or consumer products
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues
• Excellent numeracy skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating till systems
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 15kg regularly
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different store locations and shift patterns as required
• A reliable and punctual approach to work with a professional attitude
• Basic knowledge of health and wellness products, or willingness to develop this knowledge quickly
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of store presentation
