Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
• Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising products, and maintaining organized displays to ensure an inviting store environment
• Manage retail math accurately for sales totals, discounts, and inventory counts
• Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette and clear communication
• Support supervising staff in daily store activities and ensure adherence to company policies

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse customers in bilingual environments is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to perform retail math accurately and handle cash drawer procedures confidently
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive energy
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
