Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise store operations during your shift, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer experiences
• Drive outside sales initiatives by engaging with customers proactively and identifying their needs
• Manage inventory levels, perform stock checks, and coordinate purchasing to maintain optimal product availability
• Oversee cashiering duties, including cash handling, POS transactions, and balancing registers accurately
• Train and develop team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, customer service standards, and store procedures
• Implement merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and attract customers
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, operational procedures, and company standards at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail sales management or supervisory roles within the retail industry
• Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting new team members
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash handling procedures
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams confidently and manage store operations efficiently
• Demonstrated leadership in managing retail teams, supervising shifts, and developing staff through training & development initiatives
• Basic math skills for sales calculations, pricing adjustments, and inventory control tasks
• Experience in grocery or general retail stores is a plus but not required; a strong understanding of retail math is essential
• Organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service
