Store Stocker / Inventory Associate

Job DescriptionSunlite Mini Mart is seeking a hard-working, reliable, and highly organized Stocker & Inventory Associate to join our team. This role is vital to keeping our store running smoothly, ensuring our shelves stay fully stocked, tracking our inventory accurately, and maintaining an excellent experience for our customers.We are looking for a dedicated team member with open availability who can jump into shifts as needed and grow with our business.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising & Stocking: Keep shelves, displays, snack aisles, and drink coolers fully stocked, rotated, and front-faced.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, assist with receiving shipments, and track stock counts accurately to prevent shortages.
• POS Operation: Operate the cash register/Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to check out customers and handle transactions when needed.
• Store Maintenance: Keep storage rooms, tight stocking spaces, and sales floor areas clean, organized, and properly labeled.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

• Physical Strength: Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry between 25 lbs and 50 lbs regularly (unloading delivery trucks, moving crates, and handling heavy inventory boxes).
• Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand and walk for long hours, bend, reach, and maneuver in tight stocking spaces.
• Environment Adaptability: Comfortable working in both the heat (unloading truck deliveries/outdoor tasks) and the cold, a lot of the time it will be stocking in our containers outside.
• Availability: Must have open availability to work various shifts.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
• Experience: Prior experience operating a digital POS system and managing inventory is highly preferred.
• Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to guarantee punctual attendance for all scheduled shifts.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
