Material Management & Store Control

• Inventory Accuracy: Maintain precise real-time records of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods using ERP/SAP systems.

• Stock Optimization: Monitor stock levels regularly to avoid production shortages or dead-stock accumulations.

• Storage Allocation: Optimize warehouse layouts and utilize bin management to ensure logical, efficient space utilization.

• Quality Assurance: Implement FIFO/FEFO (First In, First Out / First Expired, First Out) methods to maintain inventory freshness.

• Auditing: Conduct daily cycle counts and monthly physical audits to resolve stock variances immediately.

Material Movement & Production Support

• Production Line Issuance: Issue exact raw material quantities to the production floor against authorized requisitions.

• Internal Logistics: Oversee the safe movement of materials from storage areas to staging areas using forklifts or pallet jacks.

• Reconciliation: Audit and reconcile unused materials returned by production back into the inventory system.

Loading, Unloading & Logistics Control

• Inbound Inspection: Supervise unloading operations, verifying physical counts against delivery challans and purchase orders.
• Damage Control: Inspect incoming shipments for quality defects, isolating rejected goods in a designated hold area.
• Transporter Coordination: Coordinate closely with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and freight forwarders for timely fleet placement.

Dispatch Planning & Documentation

• Dispatch Execution: Formulate daily dispatch plans aligned with customer delivery schedules and transportation capacities.

• Order Preparation: Supervise the correct picking, packing, and safe arrangement of goods onto outbound trucks.

• Compliance Documentation: Generate all crucial paperwork including Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), delivery challans, and gate passes.
