Store Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Store Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our construction materials and equipment store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising store personnel, coordinating material receipts and issuances, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the availability of materials required for construction and real estate projects. The role requires strong inventory management skills, attention to detail, and experience in construction-related warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily store and warehouse operations.
• Monitor the receipt, storage, handling, and issuance of construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels using inventory management systems.
• Conduct regular stock inspections, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and in accordance with company and HSE standards.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Supervisors regarding material requests and availability.
• Verify delivery notes, purchase orders, and invoices against received materials.
• Monitor stock movements and prepare inventory reports for management.
• Identify slow-moving, excess, obsolete, or damaged stock and recommend corrective actions.
• Supervise storekeepers and warehouse assistants, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Arrange timely replenishment of materials to prevent project delays.
• Ensure proper documentation of material transfers between sites and warehouses.
• Implement best practices for inventory control and warehouse efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness, security, and organisation of the store and warehouse areas.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.

RequirementsEducation

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse management, or inventory control within the construction, real estate, engineering, or contracting industry.
• Experience managing construction materials, tools, MEP items, and site consumables is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management practices.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Strong leadership and team supervision abilities.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and warehouse compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Bright ERP systems or similar inventory management platforms.
• Experience in large-scale construction or property development projects.

Pay: Up to QAR4,000.00 per month
