Store Supervisor

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate closely with the Purchasing, Production and Planning departments to ensure timely material supply.

• Liaise with suppliers and transporters for incoming/outgoing material handling.

People Management

• Supervise and guide Store team.

• Plan daily work allocation and ensure team discipline, safety and productivity.

• Provide on-the-job training to subordinates.

Housekeeping & Safety

• Ensure the store area is clean, organized and complies with 5S standards.

• Enforce safety procedures during material handling, loading and unloading.

• Monitor forklift usage and ensure all lifting tools and equipment are maintained properly.

Continuous Improvement

• Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance material flow, accuracy and efficiency.

• Support internal and external audits (IATF 16949, 5S, Safety etc.).

Requirements:

• Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics.

• 3 years of experience in warehouse, inventory management or materials handling in a manufacturing environment.

• Proven experience in inventory management, stock control and materials issuing to production.

• Good knowledge of inventory control / stock management.

• Familiarity with safety and quality standards like IATF 16949 / H&S in a manufacturing / warehouse context.

• Computer literacy: Excel, inventory system and reporting.

• Required Language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Excellent communication skills and strong analytical ability.

• Certified Competent Person (CePSWaM) preferred, with practical experience in scheduled waste management.

• CePSWaM Certificate is an added advantage.
