STORE SUPERVISOR

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and control of materials, tools, and equipment used in precast concrete production and construction activities. This role ensures accurate inventory records, proper material handling, and effective coordination with production and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials such as cement, aggregates, reinforcement steel, moulds, lifting accessories, and consumables.
• Ensure all materials received comply with delivery orders, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Properly store materials in designated areas to prevent damage, contamination, or deterioration.
• Issue materials, tools, and equipment based on approved requisitions and production/site requirements.
• Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, and inventory systems (manual or system-based).
• Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of low stock to avoid production delays.
• Conduct regular stock counts and participate in monthly or periodic stock audits.
• Manage and track precast-related items such as formwork, moulds, inserts, and accessories.
• Coordinate with production, QA/QC, procurement, and site teams for material movement and requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the store area in compliance with safety regulations.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Assist in minimizing material wastage, losses, and damages.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Experience as a Storekeeper in construction or precast concrete industry is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of precast concrete materials and construction processes.
• Familiar with inventory control, stock management, and storekeeping procedures.
• Forklift operation experience and valid license is an added advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of handling materials.
• Basic computer literacy (Excel or inventory systems) is an advantage.
• Responsible, well-organized, and able to work independently.

Working Environment

• Precast yard / factory / construction site.
• May involve outdoor work and manual material handling.
