Store Supervisor

The Supervisor on Duty (SOD) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the café during assigned shifts. The SOD ensures excellent customer service, efficient store operations, food safety compliance, and effective team leadership while achieving company standards and sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily café operations during assigned shifts.
• Lead, motivate, and support baristas and service staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ensure all beverages, food products, and customer service meet UCC quality standards.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve complaints professionally and promptly.
• Monitor staff attendance, scheduling, and performance during the shift.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, health, and safety regulations.
• Conduct opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to prevent shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising of the café.
• Train and coach new employees on operational procedures and customer service standards.
• Prepare daily operational reports and communicate important updates to management.
• Assist in achieving sales, labor cost, and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in food and beverage, retail, or café operations.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or team leader experience is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of café operations, food safety, and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
• Honest, dependable, organized, and results-oriented.
