Job Title: Store Supervisor / Assistant Store Manager

Department: Retail Operations

Reports To: Store Manager / Regional Retail Manager

Job Purpose

The Store Supervisor oversees daily store operations, leads shift team members, and ensures an exceptional customer experience. This role acts as a bridge between store staff and management—maintaining operational standards, driving daily sales goals, enforcing company policies, and supervising inventory and merchandising activities.

Core Responsibilities1. Shift Leadership & Team Supervision

• Supervise daily floor activities, delegate tasks, and ensure staff adhere to attendance and dress code policies.
• Assist in training, onboarding, and mentoring retail associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and store safety.
• Support performance evaluations, provide real-time coaching, and assist management with conflict resolution.
• Manage shift coverage, lunch breaks, and task prioritization to maintain optimal floor coverage.

2. Operational Excellence & Cash Handling

• Open and close the store, following security protocols, keyholder procedures, and alarm management.
• Perform opening and closing cash register balancing, drop register till counts, and manage register till reconciliations.
• Oversee Point of Sale (POS) operations, handle override requests, complex returns, exchanges, and customer disputes.
• Ensure store safety, health, and security standards are strictly enforced to minimize loss and liability.

3. Customer Experience & Sales Performance

• Lead by example on the sales floor by delivering prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service.
• Monitor daily shift sales targets and motivate the team to cross-sell, up-sell, and meet key sales performance metrics (KPIs).
• Handle escalated customer complaints professionally and ensure high customer satisfaction standards.

4. Merchandising & Inventory Control

• Maintain visual merchandising standards according to company planograms and promotional guidelines.
• Assist with inventory counts, stockroom organization, shipment receiving, tagging, and price adjustments.
• Audit stock levels to identify fast-selling items, stockouts, damaged goods, or potential shrink risks.

Qualifications & Skills

CategoryRequirementsEducationHigh School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business or Retail Management is a plus.

Experience1–3 years of retail sales experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory, keyholder, or team lead capacity.

Technical SkillsProficiency with POS systems, basic MS Office/Google Workspace, inventory software, and cash register systems.

Key CompetenciesStrong leadership, effective verbal/written communication, time management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.

Pay: Php22,000.00 - Php23,000.00 per month
