What they need

Who are Vintage Threads?

Founded in 2016, Vintage Threads is one of Europe's leading vintage retailers, operating across both online and physical stores. Every piece we sell has been handpicked from around the world, with a carefully curated selection of designer and sportswear from the '80s, '90s and early 2000s.

Our VT Rework department continues to grow rapidly, with a mission to reduce waste within the fashion industry by transforming damaged garments into unique, one-of-one pieces. Our team is made up of passionate, ambitious and creative people who genuinely love vintage fashion and the story behind every item we source. We're looking for someone who shares that passion and is ready to help lead our London stores.

What Is The Role?

As Store Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our London stores, working alongside the Store Manager to ensure the highest standards of customer experience, visual merchandising and store operations.

You'll lead by example on the shop floor, motivating the team during busy trading periods, supporting staff development and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience. You'll also take ownership of the store when required, helping manage daily operations, opening and closing procedures, stock organisation and maintaining the premium standards Vintage Threads is known for.

We create a huge amount of content in-store, so if you enjoy being involved in social media, styling or content creation, there's plenty of opportunity to get involved.

What We Are Looking For

  • Leadership Experience – Previous experience as a Supervisor, Key Holder or Senior Sales Assistant is preferred. You should be confident leading a team, delegating tasks and making decisions during busy periods.
  • Confidence - Confident leading and assisting in motivating a team in a fast-paced retail environment & help drive daily sales targets
  • Retail Experience – You must have experience working in a fast-paced retail environment for at least 1+ years and be comfortable balancing customer service with operational responsibilities.
  • Passion – We aren't your typical vintage shop. We pride ourselves on curating one of Europe's strongest selections of vintage designer and sportswear. We're looking for someone who genuinely loves fashion, understands our brand and can inspire both customers and colleagues.
  • Customer Service – Delivering an exceptional customer experience should come naturally to you. You'll be setting the standard for the rest of the team.
  • Reliability – You'll be expected to work weekends, bank holidays and key trading periods. Flexibility is essential for this role.
  • Brand Knowledge – You'll work with brands such as Prada, Stone Island, Stüssy, Burberry, Moncler, Dolce & Gabbana and many more. A strong understanding of vintage fashion and designer brands will help you excel in this position.
  • Visual Merchandising - Maintain high visual merchandising & store standards
  • Organisation – You'll help oversee stock, merchandising, daily operations and ensure the store consistently meets Vintage Threads' high standards.
  • Availability – 3-5 days per week, weekend availability is essential, including Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Content creation Opportunities

Why Join Vintage Threads?

This is an opportunity to become part of one of Europe's fastest-growing vintage retailers. You'll play an important role in developing the London stores while gaining experience across multiple areas of the business. There is also potential to work alongside our teams in London and continue progressing your career as the company grows.
