Job Overview

The Store Supervisor is responsible for managing daily store operations to ensure smooth workflow, excellent customer service, and achievement of sales and operational targets. This role involves supervising store staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, enforcing company policies, and ensuring a clean, organized, and customer-focused retail environment. The Store Supervisor acts as a role model for the team and supports management in driving store performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support store staff to ensure high levels of customer service and productivity.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor sales performance and assist in implementing strategies to meet or exceed targets.
• Ensure proper inventory management, including stock levels, replenishment, and loss prevention.
• Train, coach, and evaluate staff performance to maintain service and operational standards.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly sales and operational reports as required.
• Coordinate with management regarding staffing, scheduling, and store needs.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in retail management or a related field.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a retail environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage teams and drive sales performance.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
