Store Support (Retail)

Job Summary

The Store Support Associate is responsible for ensuring smooth back-of-house (BOH) operations, inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandise handling, and logistics support within a luxury retail environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational excellence, supporting sales activities, and ensuring merchandise is accurately received, stored, replenished, and transferred according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Merchandise Handling

• Verify incoming shipment quantities against packing lists and delivery documents.

• Inspect deliveries for any damages or discrepancies and report issues to management.

• Unbox and process merchandise before store opening.

• Perform price tagging and ensure products are labeled accurately.

• Sort and segregate merchandise by product category and floor location.

• Organize and store products efficiently in designated stockroom locations.

• Handle luxury merchandise with care and maintain product quality.

• Remove and dispose of packaging materials appropriately while retaining necessary packaging.

Back-of-House (BOH) Operations

• Arrange and replenish merchandise between the stockroom and sales floor.

• Replenish packaging materials at packing stations as required.

• Monitor packaging inventory and avoid excessive storage in BOH areas.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the stockroom and BOH areas.

• Alert management when stock or packaging supplies are running low.

• Transfer packaging materials between stockroom, staff room, and store floor.

• Repack products and print replacement price tags when required.

Repair & Return Management

• Assist with customer returns and repair shipments.

• Prepare items for courier collection, including picking, packing, and labeling.

• Create and manage documentation for repairs and returns.

• Verify repair items against system records before shipment.

• Process transfer requests (TR) for defective and repair items to regional hubs.

• Coordinate shipment schedules and communicate carton quantities for courier pickup.

• Prepare all necessary documentation related to repair and defective returns.

Courier & Shipment Coordination

• Support courier shipment activities, including DHL and e-commerce deliveries.

• Prepare shipment materials and courier documentation.

• Monitor shipping supply inventory and notify management when replenishment is required.

• Ensure accurate packing and labeling of outgoing shipments.

Inventory & Stock Management

• Pick merchandise for customer orders, stock transfers, and replenishment.

• Support store-to-store inventory transfers.

• Verify all products before physical stock transfers.

• Conduct packaging and perfume inventory checks.

• Prepare perfume testers and display stock.

• Perform daily verification of price tags against physical items.

• Replenish stock to the sales floor to maintain product availability.

Administrative Support

• Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding stock movements and operational requirements.

• Support store operations with ad hoc tasks and projects.

• Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records.

• Follow store operational procedures, schedules, and working hours.

• Remain available in the BOH area during working hours, excluding designated break periods.
