Store Team Leader

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Store Team Leader to oversee daily store operations, drive sales growth, and foster a dynamic team environment. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise retail sales teams to meet and exceed sales targets through effective coaching and motivation.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to optimize product presentation and availability.
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions, and performance evaluations to ensure team growth and engagement.
• Handle customer inquiries with professionalism via phone or in person, ensuring exceptional service standards are maintained.
• Coordinate recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members.
• Monitor operational compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and cash handling procedures.

Experience

• Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong background in retail sales management, inventory management, and operational oversight.
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and training & development.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
• Familiarity with POS systems, bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and merchandising practices.
• Experience with grocery or retail store environments is preferred but not required; a solid understanding of retail math and basic financial principles is essential.
• Excellent communication skills combined with organizational prowess to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
