Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, demonstrations, and recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant items to increase sales opportunities
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store displays are attractive and well-maintained through effective merchandising techniques
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging informed purchasing decisions
• Manage retail math accurately for transactions, including making change and balancing cash drawers at shift end
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales transactions
• Strong supervising experience or leadership skills to support team members when needed
• Ability to perform retail math confidently for accurate cash handling and register balancing
• Excellent communication skills in both bilingual (if applicable) and English to connect with diverse customers
• Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising standards, and stock management practices
• Experience in customer service roles with a focus on friendly, professional interactions
• Familiarity with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 25.0 per week

Work Location: In person
