Storekeeper

We are looking for a physical, dependable, and organized Storekeeper to manage daily warehouse operations at our food supplement manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and issuing raw materials, primarily bulk powders and finished goods. You will maintain strict cleanliness standards and inventory accuracy in compliance with food safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Control & Receiving/Issuing

• Receive incoming raw materials (powders, packaging) and verify quantities against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage, cleanliness, and correct labeling/batch numbers.
• Issue raw materials and packaging supplies to production according to batch records or requisition slips.
• Maintain clear and accurate logs of incoming and outgoing inventory (In/Out movement).

Material Handling & Physical Loading

• Move, load, unload, and stack bulk powder sacks, drums, and heavy raw material bags up to 25 kg regularly.
• Palletize goods and move stock safely within the facility using manual hand jacks or material handling equipment.

Housekeeping & Organization

• Organize store layout using First-In, First-Out (FIFO) or First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO) material management principles.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse cleanliness, sweeping dust/powder spills immediately to prevent contamination.
• Ensure storage areas comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety protocols.

Equipment Operation

• Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, trolley carts, and stackers.
• Drive and operate a forklift to move heavy pallets (if licensed).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Physical Capability: Strong physical fitness and ability to consistently lift, carry, and maneuver heavy loads (powders, bags, and drums).
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in warehouse operations, ideally in food manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or chemical environments handling powders.
• Forklift License: A valid forklift driving license or experience operating a forklift is a strong advantage.
• Hygiene & Safety: Basic understanding of warehouse safety, hygiene standards, and cleanroom or food-grade storage practices.
• Basic Literacy & Math: Able to count stock accurately, read material specs, and complete written stock logs
