Job summary

A Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and issuing materials, supplies, equipment, and inventory to support the efficient operation of an organization. They maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory counts, and ensure that materials are stored safely and are readily available.

Requirements:

• Receive, inspect, record, and store incoming materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and regularly update the store database.
• Issue and distribute materials, uniforms, supplies, and equipment based on authorized requests.
• Conduct regular stock counts and ensure proper inventory control and replenishment.
• Prepare purchase and replenishment orders and follow up with suppliers on deliveries.
• Verify the quality, quantity, and specifications of delivered items against orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store while keeping proper records of transfers, disposals, and other store activities.

Requirement:

• Minimum of an HND
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
