Job summary

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the company’s inventory, receiving and issuing materials, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring that goods are properly stored and readily available when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
• Organize and store items properly for easy identification and access.
• Issue materials to authorized personnel based on approved requests.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels regularly.
• Monitor stock levels and report low, excess, damaged, or missing items.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with records.
• Ensure the store is clean, secure, and properly organized.
• Prepare inventory reports and maintain relevant documentation.
• Follow company procedures for storage, handling, and stock control.

Requirements:

• Minimum of OND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Storekeeper or in inventory management is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of stock control and inventory procedures.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail, honesty, and ability to work independently.
