What they need
About the role
Assist storekeeper and supervisor to manage activities of store receiving for packaging in terms of safety, housekeeping and inventory.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise activities in store when supervisor is not around
- Ensure stock accuracy
- Motivate subordinate regarding store related function
- Maintain good house keeping
- Make sure all goods are ready for racking
- Assist and coordinate in any ad hoc assignments as and when required and necessary
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
- Convey packaging to or from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck/Reach-truck or forklift if required
- Load, unload, and move materials within or near plant using reach-truck or forklift if required
About you
- Minimum 1 year relevant working experience
- Able to work for long hours and working during Sunday and public holiday
- Able to work independently and under minimum supervision
