JOB VACANCY: STOREKEEPER

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery notes and purchase documents.
• Ensure goods are properly arranged, labelled, and stored in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems regularly.
• Issue goods only upon proper authorization and ensure all transactions are documented.
• Monitor stock levels and promptly report shortages, damaged goods, and discrepancies.
• Conduct regular stock counts and participate in periodic stocktaking exercises.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of products to prevent damage or loss.
• Coordinate with the Accounts, Sales, Procurement, and Logistics departments on stock-related matters.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and compliant with safety procedures.
• Prepare stock reports and maintain proper records of all warehouse transactions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of a BSc in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Storekeeper in a trading, distribution, or warehouse environment.
• Good knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and warehouse documentation.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software or Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organisational skills.
• High level of honesty, accountability, and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other departments.
