Storekeeper

About the Role:

A leading company in the industrial manufacturing sector is seeking a qualified Storekeeper to manage daily warehouse operations, ensure accurate inventory records, and maintain the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, equipment, tools, and consumables.

The successful candidate will support smooth supply chain operations while ensuring proper stock control, accurate documentation, and timely material availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the receipt and delivery of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Inspect shipments and prepare discrepancy or damage reports when required.
• Ensure materials, equipment, tools, fixed assets, and consumables are stored in their designated locations.
• Verify items against delivery notes and ensure accurate material distribution.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform daily data entry.
• Process purchase requests to ensure stock availability.
• Update material and inventory information in SAP on a daily basis.
• Report shipment-related complaints and discrepancies to the relevant department.
• Follow established warehouse procedures and applicable safety requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree.
• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in warehouse or storekeeping operations.
• Experience in material handling, purchasing, and stock control.
• Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse procedures.
• Experience using SAP for inventory and material transactions is preferred.
• Strong coordination, follow-up, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing operational requirements.
• Strong communication and internal stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of risk management and compliance requirements.
