Storekeeper

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our warehousing and distribution operations at FEPA Sdn. Bhd. in Taman Desa Cemerlang, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our storage facilities. As Storekeeper, you will be responsible for managing inventory, organising stock, and ensuring that all items are properly stored, tracked, and readily accessible for distribution. This position is fundamental to our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to meet customer demands and maintain operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving, unloading, and inspecting incoming goods to verify accuracy, quality, and condition
• Organising and categorising stock items according to established warehouse systems and procedures
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and updating stock levels in the warehousing management system
• Conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations to identify discrepancies
• Picking and packing items for despatch in accordance with customer orders and specifications
• Labelling, storing, and arranging products in designated storage locations for optimal space utilisation
• Ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage and maintain product integrity
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and hand pallet trucks where appropriate
• Identifying and reporting damaged, expired, or defective stock items
• Assisting with general warehouse maintenance and housekeeping duties

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar warehousing or inventory management role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and stock management
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer applications
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Physical capability to lift and move heavy items regularly and work on your feet for extended periods
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferred
• Basic mathematics skills for inventory calculations and record verification
